She had her first Pennsylvania race in 1990. Since then she has put a few national championships under her belt and raced internationally for a bit. Then came back home to enjoy the gravel backroads of Pennsylvania.

Trail Boss

We won’t need roads where we are going! If you’ve ridden anything near State College you’ve probably ridden on a trail he’s helped develop. Which is odd because he is a car and motorcyclist enthusiast. THe is also the team director and coach of PICL’s Lycoming County Composite Mountain Bike Team. More importantly, the he’s the guy with the shovel and rake.

Local Yokels

We couldn’t do this without them and their local ground support. If we need something they know somebody. While we are all Pennsylvanians, they are the hyper-local Eagle’s Mere connection.

This is you. Or someone you know. Local or not. From parking directors to aid station support, and maybe even a wizard or two, we need you. No cycling experience needed. Just a big heart and the ability to enjoy helping make something cool happen. A list of volunteer opportunities coming soon.
